More Information on Adobe Acrobat Reader
Many companies and organizations that are wanting to distribute their printed material for others to be able to view and print are using Adobe Acrobat to do so.
When the originator creates an Acrobat (called a PDF) file, the process imbeds all the intended fonts and graphics into the viewable PDF file and allows viewer to properly view and print the entire file even if their PC does not have some of the fonts installed.
The free download is about 5 Megabytes and will take some time to download with a modem but there is a reward for having it installed on your PC. Anytime in the future when you click on a PDF file your Reader will automatically lauch and "read" the file. PDF files are going to be used more and more in the future.
You may already have Acrobat Reader installed on your PC and not know it. Before you download and install it, you should click on one of our Membership Files in PDF format and see if it loads.
